Salvage One Wedding

Salvage One is one of the most unique and magical wedding venues I've seen in Chicago.  It is an enormous space (3 floors) filled with vintage furniture, architectural remnants of buildings and other oddities.  Their collection is for sale and always changing so if you want venture in for a peek, I highly suggest it!

Jessica and Chris were married here last November.  I loved their style- very ethereal, vintage, garden like and romantic with soft tones of peach, ivory and sage green.  One of my favorite elements from this wedding was the manzanita branch and floral backdrop that we made and installed for the ceremony.  Another fun detail from the ceremony was the aisle pew flowers.  Seeded eucalyptus elegantly draped all the way to the floor with lace and satin ribbon tails.  We later repurposed these flowers on the head table to create a floral table runner.  Upstairs above all the dinner tables, we created an overgrown garden feel by hanging moss and springeri from the rafters- very cool!

A special thanks to their photographer First Blush Photos for capturing the evening so well!
