Stan Mansion Summer Wedding

Lindsay and Jay’s classy wedding took place on a gorgeous summer evening in Chicago. Their ceremony and reception at the Stan Mansion was an elegant fairy tale full of fresh flowers, stylish gold accents, and plenty of candle light. Their floral decor was refined, and featured quintessential wedding flowers like ranunculus and roses.

Lindsay held a bouquet of white roses, blush garden roses, spray roses and ranunculus. Her bridesmaids carried petite versions of the bridal bouquet. Jay and his groomsmen wore simple blush ranunculus boutonnieres, and female family members wore cheery corsages of pink spray roses on a gold band.

The ceremony aisle was lined with dozens of ivory pillar candles which were later moved to the tabletops to create warm lighting for the reception dinner. Small floral arrangements in gold bud vases accented the ivory pillar candles on the round tables while the farm style tables were decorated with tall arrangements in gold vases that mirrored the style of Lindsay’s bouquet.

Congratulations to Lindsay and Jay and thank you to Sarah Crost Photography for capturing such beautiful photos!

Vibrant Vintage Vibes

This elopement styled shoot was was created to inspire couples that have unique, colorful, vintage taste. Several Chicago weddings vendors collaborated with Tina Skiver- the event planner,  in order to bring this boho wedding look to life.

The flowers were chosen to echo the vibrant, vintage reds and blues of the Rifle Paper wallpaper behind the sweetheart table. The bride's crown and bouquet have bright pops of blue delphinium and bright red dahlias. The more neutral tones in the ivory spray roses and peach ranunculus soften the look.

Paired with the macrame by Ket Mercantile, the bridal bouquet and ceremony arch have a vintage flare that is perfect for this couple. Dark blue privet berries and baby blue eucalyptus add texture and asymmetry, which captures the classic, yet edgy style that suits unique couples.
