Eco+Elegant Spring Wedding

Erika and Doug’s wedding took place on one of the first bright spring days in April. Their ceremony and reception at Greenhouse Loft was full of natural light, soft floral decor, and lots of love from family and friends.

The bouquets contained fresh spring peonies, roses, sweet pea, orchids, ranunculus, and eucalyptus. The blush, ivory, and pale yellow floral added an organic feel to the ceremony, and accented the bridemaids’ mauve dresses. The men wore ivory spray rose boutonnieres with just a touch of greenery.

Glass bud vases with roses, stock, sweet pea, orchids and ranunculus lined the windows during the ceremony. These flowers beautifully framed the couple as they said “I do”, and then were repurposed as centerpieces during dinner to add an eclectic, natural look to the tabletops. Soft candle lighting lit the room as the couple danced the night away and started their lives together in style!

The beautiful pictures in this gallery were taken by Jamie & Eric Photography. Thanks to them, the couple, and the entire vendor team for creating such a beautiful day!

Urban Meets Organic

Molly & Ronnie's summer wedding at Lacuna Lofts was as bright and vibrant as they are. Not a cloud in the sky, the sun lit up their rooftop wedding and made for lifelong memories with family & friends. The backdrop of the ceremony was the one-of-a-kind Chicago skyline, while flowers and greenery brought organic, natural touches to the aisle & bridal party.

Molly & her bridesmaids carried colorful bouquets of larkspur, dahlias, roses, and stock. The peaches, pinks, and deep purples were radiant against the lavender bridesmaids dresses. The groom and family members wore spray rose boutonnieres and corsages that echoed that pink and lavender colors with touches of blue thistle and greenery.

After the ceremony, the party moved inside to the Reverie Gallery at Lacuna Lofts. Dinner tables were decorated with clear hobnail jars and the same colorful mix of florals and greens. Gold mercury glass votives surrounded the centerpieces and added to the room's warm glow. The chair flowers that had lined the aisle during the ceremony were repurposed to bring the same organic, natural look to the head table.

Ed & Aileen Photography did an amazing job with with the photos, and the event staff at Lacuna Lofts was delightful to work with, as always! Thanks to such a great couple and vendor team!
