New Year's Eve Wedding at Ovation

A wedding in the winter can be risky business here in the Midwest. Thankfully, Halyna & Joshua's New Year's Wedding was filled with warm colors, warm hearts and warm wishes! The flowers had a dramatic vibe with the inclusion of the hot pink roses, deep pops of privet berries, the wild agonis foliage and the dark centers of the anenomes.  There was also a vintage element with the taupe colored quicksand roses, (our favorite rose recently) and the gold accents.   We also incorporated beautiful purple succulents into the bouquets and on the tables.

Ovation has an industrial loft feel so we wanted to warm it up.  The tables featured glowing candlelight from our gold mercury glass votives, tall stemmed votives, lush green garlands, and rich blooms of plum, magenta and wine. It came together beautifully and will surly inspire others to embrace a winter wedding!

Special thank you to Mike Hari with Fadeout Foto for capturing these detail photos.

Romantic Reds at GHL

Early March in Chicago means minimal in season growth. However, that didn't stop Jennifer & Nick from embracing a warm and romantic ora with what was available- including rich greenery, traditional roses, ranunculus, spray roses, berries and more. The design was inspired by the burgundy tones of the bridesmaids' dresses, pops of ivory to compliment the clean feel of their venue (Greenhouse Loft), hints of greenery to bring the garden feel indoors, and a touch of candle light from our gold votives to bring class and softness to the space.

The couple said their vows beneath a birch structure decorated asymmetrically with greenery and floral. This structure was then repurposed to frame the couple as they sat at their sweetheart table for dinner. Another highlight of the evening was their simple 3 tiered cake with cascading floral down the side.

All of these amazing photographs were captured by the wonderful Jamie with Jamie & Eric Photography.  Thank you so much for sharing these with us!

Blackstone Hotel Wedding

Marissa and Randy chose a late November day to celebrate their wedding with friends and family at the beautiful and elegant Blackstone Hotel. With ornate chandeliers and stone carvings detailing the great ballroom, we opted for floral that would accent rather than distract.  Marissa held a lovely fall inspired bouquet of ivory, blush and burgundy including  ranunculus, privet berries, stock, lisianthus, dahlias and roses.  The couple exchanged vows beneath a birch chuppah draped with hydrangea, roses, and garlands of greenery.

The dinning room held a mix of two different styles of centerpieces.  Several tables were adorned with low silver compote vases filled with ivory hydrangea, blush roses, seeded eucalyptus, and burgundy mums.  The other tables featured towering candlesticks topped with organically arranged hydrangea, ivy, roses, dahlias, stock and  dusty miller.

Special Thank You to Matushek Photography for being such amazing photographers and sharing these beautiful pictures with us!
