Romantic Reds at GHL

Early March in Chicago means minimal in season growth. However, that didn't stop Jennifer & Nick from embracing a warm and romantic ora with what was available- including rich greenery, traditional roses, ranunculus, spray roses, berries and more. The design was inspired by the burgundy tones of the bridesmaids' dresses, pops of ivory to compliment the clean feel of their venue (Greenhouse Loft), hints of greenery to bring the garden feel indoors, and a touch of candle light from our gold votives to bring class and softness to the space.

The couple said their vows beneath a birch structure decorated asymmetrically with greenery and floral. This structure was then repurposed to frame the couple as they sat at their sweetheart table for dinner. Another highlight of the evening was their simple 3 tiered cake with cascading floral down the side.

Soft Hues of Summer

The Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum is the perfect space to "escape" the city and embrace the outdoors. Natalia & Eric had a Summer celebration with blooms of Gerber Daisies (her fav), Ranunculus, Dahlias, Stock and Roses overflowing vintage tea cups and silver compote vases.

The Bride held a beautiful bouquet of blush, medium pinks, lilac, light peach and purples that matched her bridesmaid's dresses perfectly. The flower girls carried blush and lavender pomanders. The Groom too, wore a pastel pink Ranunculus, while his possy's jackets were adorned with peachy ranunculus.  The over all feeling of the day with the bright sunshine, stunning flowers, and smiling faces was truly one of celebration!

Beauties at Osteria Via Stato

Kristi & Jackie combined their lives and love for each other at the intimate Osteria Via Stato.   Surrounded by curly willow branches with twinkling lights and close family and friends, their ceremony was memorable and personable.  Kristi and Jackie held complimenting bridal bouquets of Ranunculus, Roses, Queen Annes Lace and Peonies.

The interior of the restaurant was glowing with candles both clear and mercury glass on each table and along ledges around the room.  Mercury glass compote vases arranged with ivory, blush and burgundy blooms set upon some guest tables while lush green garlands lined remaining table tops.

Shades of Pink

When brides think "romantic",  shades of white to red comes to mind.   Jenessa & Aaron chose all the shades in between.  We created the eye-catching ombre affect in the bouquets, chuppah and centerpieces to help show all the shades of Love.

Jenessa held a well rounded bouquet spanning from ivory to hot pink with flowers including roses, orchids, ranunculus and dahlias.  Aaron and his attendants rocked ranunculus in different shades to match.  The aisle was defined with a beautiful white runner, pillar candles, and an eye-catching birch chuppah draped with hydrangea and roses.

The reception tables at Spiaggia were set with magnificent manicured mounds of blooms.  Tall clear glass vessels gave the illusion that the flowers were floating over the tables.  The sweetheart table held an eclectic collection of pink floral with scattered silver votives for a warm feel.  And of course the look wouldn't be complete without an orchid at every seat.
